BIOGRAPHY

After graduating from Ecole Polytechnique in 1989 (X86), I was appointed by DoD procurement agency (Ingénieur de l’armement)  for a PhD thesis in total synthesis under the supervision of Jean-Yves Lallemand, and I then served 9 years in Charles Mioskowsky’s group in CEA Saclay where I studied biocompatible means to scavenge organophosphorus Nerve agents (mainly abzymes). I was appointed in 2003 full professor in Rouen’s University to build up a bioorganic chemistry group. The aim of the group is to create new tools for chemical biology and medicinal chemistry (bioimaging, bioconjugate chemistry, KGTS, and medical countermeasures to prevent chemical warfare agents and against Alzheimer Disease). Since 2019,, I’m at the head of UMR 6014 CNRS COBRA and Xl-Chem graduate school for research.
