Christine BAUDEQUIN

Assistant Professor

Heterocycles team

BIOGRAPHY

Christine Baudequin received her Ph.D from the university of Rouen in France in 2005 under the supervision of Dr J.-C. Plaquevent and Dr D. Cahard on the evaluation of asymmetric synthesis in ionic liquids.

After her Ph.D, she moved to Göttingen in the group of Pr. Tsogoeva working in organocatalyzed asymmetric reactions. From 2006 to 2009, she was three postdoctoral fellows in rhodium catalysis, quantum dots and lithium-ion battery research areas. In 2009, she joined the Pr Y. Ramondenc’s group as assistant professor working on the design and the synthesis of new A-π-D fluorophores. Then in 2012, she joined the research group of Pr. Christophe Hoarau (Hétérocycles Team, COBRA Laboratory). Her research interests focuses on the transition metal-catalysed C-H activation and the development of regioselective and/or enantioselective C(sp2 or sp3)-H functionalization of heterocycles.
